Introducing Indeco ABF technology:

Power connecting with agility.

ABF technology means Anti-Blank Fire, and this translates into potentially big savings in your breaker’s upkeep, your downtime, and your next project’s completion. Breaking rock is hard to do, and it’s hard on your breaker, tool steel, and all of the components inside.

The new ABF system, installed as standard on all Indeco breaker models, eliminates damaging “blank or dry firing” by preventing the piston from striking the tool whenever the tool is not resting firmly on the surface to be demolished. The ABF breaker will only strike when there is suitable down pressure, greatly reducing a common source of damage. This increases the service life of all components subject to wear and tear, as well as reducing stress to the breaker body and excavator arm.

How ABF works:

  1. The operator positions the breaker on top of the rock and activates.
  2. The rock splits along a vein or stress fracture.
  3. The ABF breaker completely penetrates the rock so there is no resistance.
