The IHW Series of static wheel compactors features an unique, patent pending locking wheel removal design that facilitates easy, field accessibility to the heavy-duty bearings by eliminating traditional weld-type bearing encasements. It’s engineered with specially designed, staggered pads that effectively penetrate trench fill deeper than ordinary pad configurations and achieve bottom-up rather than top-down compaction; making the IHW Series ideally suited for cohesive and clay soil environments where vibratory plate methods may not achieve optimum results.
Simple to install and operate due to its purely mechanical design, the IHW Series requires no special hydraulic connections or separate drive systems and is available in a wide variety of models and width sizes to accommodate most excavator brands.
