Hydraulic Repair Technician
Indeco North America, a leading Connecticut-based provider of heavy-duty hydraulic attachments for demolition, scrap, recycling, mining and road construction applications, has an immediate opening for a highly-motivated, experienced Hydraulic Repair Technician to work on a variety of heavy-duty construction and demolition equipment, including our word-famous hydraulic breakers, plate and wheel compactors, pedestal booms, pulverizers and mobile demolition shears. This is a hands-on position at our headquarters location in scenic Milford, CT and reports directly to the service manager.
Responsibilities include the upkeep and maintenance of heavy hydraulic equipment with a primary responsibility for heavy equipment repairs and refurbishing of hydraulic breakers. The hydraulic equipment repair mechanic is expected to perform incidental welding operations as well.
The position is 1st shift with a guaranteed minimum 40 hour work week. Compensation is comparable to experience and also includes health insurance, 401K and profit sharing program.
Our ideal candidate has previous experience with hydraulic motors, valve and cylinder rebuilding in a work environment involving lifting materials and machinery tools. While previous experience working on hydraulic hammers and related hydraulic demolition equipment is preferred, we will train the right individual.
